RAKOV ŠKOCJAN KARST VALLEY

Rakov Škocjan is a karst valley nestled between the Postojna Cave and the intermittent (disappearing) Lake Cerknica.

It is known for its remarkable limestone features: two natural bridges, an influent (disappearing) streamcaves, springs, and a dissolution sinkhole.

The circular route runs on a gravel road, connecting all major natural and cultural attractions of the area.
