BICYCLE ROUTE
The circular path running through the Goričko Nature Park is not signposted.
The information boards along the way are mostly written in Slovenian (and in some places in Hungarian) while the descriptions inside Grad Castle are written in Slovenian, Hungarian, German, and English.

PLANNING YOUR TOUR
The route is 62 km long (39 miles), and you need an entire day to cycle it.
There are also some natural and cultural attractions waiting to be explored along the way.
ROUTE DESCRIPTION
START THE TOUR IN HODOŠ
Start the tour in Hodoš, the only municipality in Slovenia where the majority of its residents are of Hungarian nationality and of Protestant religion.
CYCLE IN THE ANTI-CLOCKWISE DIRECTION
After visiting Hodoš, head towards Lake Hodoš, an accummulation lake serving as the main habitat for otters.

WHAT YOU WILL FIND ALONG THE ROUTE
The route mostly runs on paved roads, and also on some gravel and forest paths.
It leads past the site of a stratoshperic-balloon landing, the Tromejnik tri-stae area, Grad Castle, and the Vulkanija Adventure Park.
There are a few picnic spots along the way as well.
THE END OF THE ROUTE
The route circles back to Hodoš after 62 km (39 miles) and 670 m of elevation gain (2,198 ft).
