The Small Soča Gorge
SIGHT NO. 1
Start the tour at the Korita Campsite, where you can see the Small Soča Gorge from the stone bridge near the campsite.
The Great Soča Gorge
SIGHT NO. 2
Cycle on the back (gravel) road to the start of the Lepena Valley, where you can see the carved out Great Soča Gorge.

SIGHT NO. 3
Cycle uphill to the charming Lepena Holiday Village, where you can have a look at the traditional architecture of the area, go horseback riding, or have a bite to eat at their restaurant.

At the confluence of the Soča River and the Lepenjica Stream, you can find a natural beach,
an ideal place to dive into the cold water from the carved out rock walls or try one of many water sports, for example supping or kayaking.
Lepena Valley
SIGHT NO. 5
Cycle the length of the Lepena Valley, enjoy the view of the Alps, and stop for a picnic on one of the inviting meadows.
Šunik Water Trail
SIGHT NO. 6
Go for a hike along the circular Šunik Water Trail.
There are several (hanging) wooden bridges stretching across the pools and waterfalls of the Lepenjica and Šumnik streams.
Dr. Klement Jug Lodge
SIGHT NO. 7
The Dr. Klement Jug Lodge awaits at the end of the Lepena Valley.
A short, 15-minute walk away is a viewpoint over the Lepenjica Waterfall, which is the source of the Lepenjica Stream.
The mountain lodge is a good starting point for longer hikes in the Julian Alps.
Soča Trail
SIGHT NO. 8
When returning to the starting point, you can also hike shorter sections of the Soča Trail, or simply have a look at the information boards along the road, offering information on the region and its history.
End of the Route
Cycle back to the starting point along the emerald Soča River.
