SOLČAVA PANORAMIC ROAD
The Solčava Panoramic Road runs along the border with Austria, nestled amidst the Kamnik-Savinja Alps and the Karavanke Mountain Range.
The route offers breathtaking views of high mountain peaks and green valleys below them, taking you past highland farms where you can indulge in traditional food and find a cosy place to sleep overlooking the mountains.
The 25-kilometre circular route (15 miles) gives you a chance to rest your eyes on unspoilt nature, and can also be a great starting point for quite a few hiking trails.

The route mostly runs on paved roads, with some shorter gravel sections in between.
There are a few picnic spots along the way, as well as lounge chairs and viewing platforms.
The circular Solčava Panoramic Road is not signposted but there are many information boards along the way, written in Slovenian, English, and German.
